Why Use Multiple Light Sources?

A colour may appear different when viewed under different illumination conditions.

Two samples may appear to match under daylight but show a visible colour difference under fluorescent or commercial lighting. This effect is known as metamerism.

TL84 – Fluorescent Commercial Lighting Condition

TL84 provides an additional 4000K fluorescent viewing condition for evaluating colour appearance under commercial or retail-type illumination.
